After living in one place for many years, I recently became a wandering transplant. To acclimate myself, I travel with my camera, snapping the surroundings and trying to force a sense of the familiar. The photographs are similiar to my digital paintings in their ability to tell a story. However, they are made in a more direct, immediate fashion with the subject sharing its tale. |
