Self Portrait:Using the tools in Adobe Photoshop and visual design basics, develop a self portrait. You may include a photograph of yourself but it is not necessary. The portrait should reveal items, concepts, and relationships that are important to you. Try to avoid the "scrapbook" look and instead reach for a balanced composition and items that help connect the overall image to the viewer. Vector Portrait:Using the pen and shape tools in Adobe Illustrator, design a portrait. It is easier to use a photograph for reference and the shape fills may have solid colors or gradients. As always, incorporate overall visual design principles and reach for a balanced composition. Click on each image to open a larger version in its own browser window. |
